Valérie Čižmárová: A Life In Sound

…or, more accurately, ‘Valérie Čižmárová: Just Over A Decade In Sound’

As ‘Bananas For Breakfast’ acts as a reference site, primarily for English-speakers, as much as the imagery at the ‘Valérie Čižmárová: A Life In Pictures’ page may be enticing one should never lose sight of the fact that Valinka was a terrifically engaging performer with a voice of unparalleled power and richness of her era of female Pop Singers in Czechoslovakia as well as a fabulous-looking woman.

Here, therefore, is a chronological run-down of any of Valinka’s recordings that can be individually embedded, (not all can, sadly), together with the relevant credits – sorted (as I have come to view Valinka’s recording years from the end of the 1960s to the early 1980s) into my four phases based on the school/college I was attending at the time of those recordings.

Please note that not all the videos embedded come directly from the studio recordings – coming from subsequent TV broadcasts instead.
